Yukari Saegusa

Vice President and Treasurer, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. and Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc.

Yukari Saegusa is vice president and treasurer of Con Edison, the energy company serving the 9 million people of New York City and Westchester. She holds the additional title of treasurer of Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc.

Ms. Saegusa manages corporate finance, investor relations, pension, insurance, commodity risk, and treasury operations for the company. She has executed over $30 billion in equity and debt financing for the company.

She has also executed and financed several strategic projects for the company including divestiture of Pike County Light & Power to Corning Gas; Con Edison Transmission’s (CET) $975 million purchase of 50% stake in Stagecoach Gas Services and others; CEB’s $1.54 billion purchase of solar asset portfolio (981 MW) from Sempra Energy; divestiture of CET’s stake in Stagecoach Gas Services to Kinder Morgan Strategic review; and execution of the divestiture of CEB to RWE AG for $6.8 billion.

Earlier, Ms. Saegusa was managing director of Debt Capital Markets at Barclays (2004-2013), where she was responsible for fixed income origination for the energy and power sectors, and head of loan origination for the U.S. utility sector. She also held several positions at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., and Price Waterhouse, LLC.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree in financial management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
