Robert Hoglund

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Consolidated Edison Inc.

Robert Hoglund is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Consolidated Edison Inc, the energy company serving the 10 million people of New York City, Westchester, Orange and Rockland counties. Mr. Hoglund joined Consolidated Edison in April 2004 and became CFO in 2005. He is chair of the Board of Con Edison Transmission, Inc. and a member of the Board of Orange and Rockland Utilities Inc.

He was previously employed by Citigroup and predecessor firms where he was a managing director in the mergers & acquisitions department and managed the firm’s investment banking coverage of North American utilities. Mr. Hoglund previously worked at Merrill Lynch, the former Barr Devlin, and at Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Hoglund is chairman of the Board of Directors of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, chair of the Finance Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the Citizens Budget Commission.

Mr. Hoglund holds a bachelor’s degree with distinction in English literature, a master's degree in business administration and a Juris Doctor, each from the University of Virginia.
