Joseph Miller

Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Consolidated Edison, Inc. & Consolidated Edison Company of New York;
CFO and Controller, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.

Joseph Miller is vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of Consolidated Edison, Inc. and Consolidated Edison Company of New York, the energy company serving the 9 million people of New York City and Westchester. He holds the additional title of chief financial officer as well as controller for Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc. He assumed these roles beginning in 2021. Before becoming a vice president, Mr. Miller served in roles of increasing responsibility within Finance including assistant controller, responsible for financial reporting and the filing and settlement of the utilities’ rate cases; director, responsible for risk and pension management; and a manager in Strategic Planning. He originally joined Con Edison in 1984 as a management intern.

Mr. Miller holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and a Master of of Business Administration degree in finance from Baruch College, where he has served as a mentor to the college’s students through Baruch’s Executives on Campus program.
